For what you need it?

To exchange database software that ran into licence limitations (too many used cores or connections per minute, too much processed data, DB too slow, etc.) but you do / can not pay x‑thousand $/€ of licence fees, and that again and again.

OR

You are a developer and just want to test something super cool but calculative and performance consuming, but do not have the money to pay X‑thousand $/€ for a licence to fully use DB performance, just to test something. OR you have a profitable idea but not the money earned yet, then you are right here :)

Why you need it?

It’s fast & performant, REALLY easy to use (no marketing bla bla) and REALLY affordable.

Why you need it now?

Every further licence period payed for proprietary databases is lost money and only frustrates developers which then run away because of the limited possibilities to change something.

THIS WEBPAGE – and its content – is for all who are totally annoyed of usual DBs.

For example because of the following reasons:

Are U too TOTALLY ANNOYED processing PAAAGES of preinstall‑instructions SIGN BY SIGN, before you finally can fire the first "Select * from Dual" (or the like)? Cryptic config files which lead to more config files which lead to… And da–– we know what happens if SOMETHIN is wrong ;)

Tired of initializing insane complex objects just to fill every da–– deeply boxed attribute by hand?

You know what I mean? >>

You simply have a project in an "IdontKnow‑language" and u just want to QUICK save some data with your prog – and yes, more than 100 connections at a time?

U just want to DROP a DB SOMEWHERE IN THE FS and then ASK THE DB THERE something with a simple SELECT‑syntax? U just want to save some data of your prog – so to say – BY THE WAY but persistent?

No more project‑changes because proprietary driver XY has update needs again! U don’t want to download and integrate a new driver just because THEY want U to update?

U just want to open/call SOMEWHERE IN THE CODE a function like:
askTheDb("Select customerName, customerAdress from Customers Where department=Sales")
– and that spits u a formatted file in front of your feet – ready to get further processed by ya busy prog?

Even if we know better – sometimes professionals begin to consider other "TRUE" reasons for the problems XD ..

WHATEVER! – AT LEAST SOME NIGHTMARES ENDS HERE :)

At least these are the reasons why I developed this FODB for me AND FOR YOU!
